In the far north lie Old Sanctuary and New Sanctuary—one abandoned, one occupied. Old Sanctuary, once a thriving city, grew against a mountain range but harbored a dark secret. Despite its prosperity, visitors sensed something off, a lurking evil born from profane rituals in the ancient temple. Over time, residents fled, and traders ceased coming, leaving Old Sanctuary abandoned but not forgotten. New Sanctuary arose nearby, yet few ventured to the cursed ruins of the old city.
