Blood Reservoir

The Blood Reservoir creeps over broken stone on long, thin limbs, its swollen abdomen hanging heavy beneath a twisted insect body. Its mouth is wide, wet, and always open, with a feeding tube pushing out from inside. Whatever made it did not build a predator. It built a container that learned to chase.
Plot Hooks
- A ruined clinic’s blood stores keep refilling overnight, and no one wants to ask where it comes from.
