Champion of Orcus
“Kneel... While you still have the choice.”
Crowned with horns and clad in jagged armor, the Champion of Orcus leads the legion through the ruins of conquered kingdoms. Beneath its tattered shroud, an exposed heart beats for its master alone. Its hooked blade claims the living, while whispered commands send the fallen marching against those they once defended.
The Champion challenges a city’s protector to single combat, promising to spare the population if defeated.
A stolen scripture reveals how to destroy its exposed heart. The party must recover it before the cult does.
Fallen heroes march beneath its banner. One still remembers a secret that could bring the Champion down.

“You will beg me to spare your children. I will let you hear them beg for you.
Then I will raise you together... You will know their faces. You will feel their bones break beneath your hands.
And when you have torn apart everything you ever loved, I will give you back your mind. Just long enough to understand what your hands have done. Then I will raise them again.”
- Orcus, the Bone Tyrant.
