Laboratory Angel

The Laboratory Angel rises above scattered books, bottles, and old surgical notes, its stitched body held upright by torn wings too large for the room that made it. A long blade rests in its hands like a holy instrument. It looks less like a miracle than a question nobody wants answered.
Plot Hooks
- The Angel protects the ruined laboratory, but only from those it believes are still “unfinished.”
- A dying scholar says the Angel remembers every soul used to make it, and one of them is still calling for help.
- The party can earn its trust by destroying the notes that explain how to make another.
