Mutilated Beholder
“They carved it open to understand it. It lived long enough to learn hatred.”
The Mutilated Beholder is a floating ruin of stitched flesh, torn eyestalks, and one impossible mouth stretched far too wide. Some of its eyes still twitch at the ends of ruined tendrils, while others have been cut away and crudely sealed. It hangs in the air like a thing dragged back from the table before death could finish its work.
Plot Hooks
- A surgeon’s journal claims the creature remembers every hand that cut into it, and it has started hunting their bloodlines.
- People near its lair begin dreaming with borrowed eyes, waking with fresh stitches on their skin.
- The Mutilated Beholder guards a ruined operating chamber where something even worse is still strapped to the slab.
