Dark events near Marshfield are terrifying locals. Disease, rotten crops, and stillborn babies were once seen as bad luck or divine punishment. However, hunters and fishermen began finding small tokens in the swamp—first simple branches, then broken bones, ears, eyes, and entrails, even human entrails. As these gruesome tokens increased, so did the severity of the events. It became clear that all the town’s misfortunes were caused by dark magic whispered from the swamp’s core!
