“Your grave is ready. Take your time...”
Clad in rotting funeral robes, the Caretaker tends the burial grounds claimed by Orcus. He moves between headstones with a battered shovel and a lantern burning with captive souls. Every grave is carefully marked, every corpse accounted for. When the legion calls, he opens the earth and leads his charges to war.
Fresh graves appear bearing the party’s names. The Caretaker visits each night to check whether they are occupied.
A grieving widow recognizes her husband’s voice inside his lantern and begs the party to release him.
The Caretaker prepares to empty a vast war cemetery. The party must stop him before the legion arrives.
