The Protector

The Protector chose a ward and that choice is the end of every negotiation. A guardian warrior built for protection arcs, escort mission storylines, and campaigns where the party's job is keeping something alive that everyone else wants dead. Use them as a guardian NPC the party must work alongside or overcome, a player character fighter or paladin whose entire character concept is keeping other people alive, or the face of a protective faction that takes its responsibilities extremely literally.
