Vein Ripper
“The dungeon does not need traps when something inside it can hear your heartbeat.”
The Vein Ripper is one of the foul predators nesting beneath the Crimson Waltz, a pale, blood-starved creature that hunts by scenting wounded flesh. It crawls through collapsed passages and forgotten cells, striking with sudden violence before dragging its prey into the dark to feed.
A wounded guest disappears into the lower halls, leaving only a trail of blood and claw marks behind.
The party learns several Vein Rippers are nesting beneath the castle’s old prison.
One creature has begun following the scent of blood all the way toward the ballroom.
